Right to Sight:

Cataract is a major health problem in the elderly due to which they become dependent on others. Lack of money and fear are the major causes for not undergoing cataract surgeries. Our eye department provides treatment at low costs and also conducts free eye camps for cataract surgeries every month. This year 379 patients were checked and 78 operated and 45 were given free spectacles. Due to Covid 19 lock down guidelines by the government, we could conduct only 6 eye camps this year.
